Giuliano Emprin biography
Giuliano Emprin was an Italian painter born in Turin in 1902. He graduated in Law and from 1924 dedicated himself exclusively to painting, frequenting the studio of the artist Agostino Bosia.
In 1929 he exhibited for the first time at the Promotrice Belle Arti in Turin where he participated in all subsequent exhibitions. From 1929 he also participated in all the exhibitions of the Circolo degli Artisti of Turin.
In 1931 he exhibited at the I Quadrennial of Rome while in 1936 and 1950 at the Biennale of Venice. He won various prizes including the Avondo Prize in 1931, the Albarello Prize in 1932 and 1938, the Premio Sindacato delle Belle Arti in 1933 and many others.
His works Maccagno Inferore and Paesaggio are exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Turin. Giuliano Emprin passed away in Turin in 1991.
