The Ecstasy of Marina Abramovic
Returns to Naples after 46 years from the historic, Rhytm 0 performance, held at the Studio Morra Gallery, the mother of performance art, Marina Abramovic.

As part of the Italian tour and after the Milan stop, VanitasClub brings the solo show of Marina Abramovic to Naples, Ecstasy, inspired by the diaries of Saint Teresa of Avila.
The exhibition consists of three large screens installed in the Hall of Prisons a Castel dell'Ovo which transmit the video cycle called "The Kitchen. Homage to Saint Therese”, Dedicated to one of the most important figures of Catholicism, Saint Teresa of Avila, who is said to have mystical visions while working in the kitchen.
The three video installations, Vanity, Carrying the milk and Levitation were built in 2009 in the former convent of the Poor Clares of Gijon.
