Giuliano Emprin biography

Giuliano Emprin was an Italian painter born in Turin in 1902. He graduated in Law and from 1924 dedicated himself exclusively to painting, attending the studio of the artist Agostino Bosia.
In 1929 he exhibited for the first time at the Promotrice Belle Arti of Turin, in which he participated in all subsequent exhibitions. From 1929 he also took part in all exhibitions of the Circolo degli Artisti of Turin.
In 1931 he exhibited at the I Quadriennale di Roma while in 1936 and 1950 at the Venice Biennale. He won various awards including the Premio Avondo in 1931, the Premio Albarello in 1932 and 1938, the Premio Sindacato delle Belle Arti in 1933, and many others.
His works Maccagno Inferore and Paesaggio are exhibited at the Modern Art Museum of Turin. Giuliano Emprin passed away in Turin in 1991.
