- ANNA CIONINI PAINTER
Anna Cionini is an Italian painter. She was born in Poggibonsi on November 24, 1941.
After being introduced to classical studies, she became passionate about drawing and abandoned her studies to follow this natural inclination.
Initially, she worked for a few years as a draftsman at an advertising studio. Later, she traveled and stayed in various Italian cities, where she had the opportunity to engage with different realities and cultures that inspired and enriched her innate artistic sensitivity. She began dedicating herself to painting as a self-taught artist.
From 1970 onwards, she began exhibiting in national and international solo and group exhibitions. In 1981, her particular interest in the figure led her to regularly attend the free nude school at the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence.
Anna Cionini, in addition to having held several solo exhibitions in various Italian cities, has exhibited in London, Rotterdam, Munich, Paris, and Hot Springs in the United States.
Her works are present in public and private collections in Italy and abroad.
