      Eliseo Mattiacci (Cagli, November 13, 1940 - Fossombrone, August 25, 2019) was an Italian artist.

      After studying at the State Institute of Art Gaetano Lapis in Cagli, he graduated in 1959 from the Institute of Fine Arts in Pesaro and in 1961 he made his first exhibition: a collective dedicated to young artists from the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome on the occasion of which he won the first prize with the work Mechanical Man made of metal with assembled recycled materials. From 1964 the artist moved to Rome, where he frequented the cultural environment of the capital, in full turmoil in those years.
